If spreading cheer is on your list of to-dos this holiday season, listen up: MTM welcomes your help in donating gifts for local children through the Toys for Tots campaign.
Anyone who wants to contribute can bring new, unwrapped toys for children up to age 16 years old to the MTM headquarters at 1007 Old Philadelphia Road, suite 500 in Aberdeen. Donations will be accepted 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday through Dec. 18.
Look for the cardboard box truck already filling with toys and add yours to it. (Is it aiming to high to say we’d like enough toy donations to fill a REAL box truck? We don’t think so!) If you can’t make those times work, contact the office at 443-303-3179 to arrange a custom drop-off.
“This is the first year we’ve been a Toys for Tots location,” said company Vice President Taylor Santiago. “Our team and their families have begun generously donating to the cause! We hope our local community can join us in this gratifying experience that results in children having toys to open on Christmas Day.”
Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Started in 1947, the program has distributed more than 627 million toys to more than 280 million children and families over the past 75 years.
